5.2 Earthquake Strikes Near San Diego, Shakes Southern California

A 5.2-magnitude earthquake struck near Julian, California, late Monday night, sending tremors across San Diego County and reaching as far as Los Angeles, approximately 120 miles away.

The quake rattled windows and shook homes, startling residents across Southern California. Many described the jolt as brief but powerful.

Despite the intensity, no injuries or significant damage were reported, according to the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department.
