Michael Madsen’s cause of death has been confirmed after the star was found dead aged 67.
The beloved actor known for his role in several Quentin Tarantino hits and many other projects was sadly found in his Malibu home on July 3 by emergency services.
A statement from the Los Angeles sheriff confirmed that no foul play was suspected and that he died from natural causes, more specifically a cardiac arrest.
A representative for the star confirmed his passing; “In the last two years Michael Madsen has been doing some incredible work with independent film including upcoming feature films ‘Resurrection Road,’ ‘Concessions’ and ‘Cookbook for Southern Housewives,’ and was really looking forward to this next chapter in his life,” his managers Susan Ferris and Ron Smith, and publicist Liz Rodriguez said.
