After a deadly flash flood in Texas claimed 104 lives—including 27 young girls at a summer camp—Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman expressed deep sorrow as parents, not just celebrities.

“They were just little girls. Somebody’s daughters. Just like ours,” Keith said, emphasizing the personal impact of the tragedy. The couple donated \$250,000 to the Texas Disaster Relief Fund to support grieving families, displaced children, and rebuilding efforts.

Keith also announced a benefit concert, “Rise for Texas,” featuring stars like Blake Shelton and Alan Jackson. All proceeds from the event will aid the devastated communities.

In a deeply personal gesture, each family who lost a daughter received a silver locket engraved with “She was here. She mattered. She is forever,” along with a handwritten letter from Keith and Nicole, promising to remember and honor each girl.
