This easy recipe yields 16 savory rolls using two cans of refrigerated crescent roll dough. The filling combines cooked breakfast sausage (pork, turkey, or your preferred kind), shredded cheddar cheese, and softened cream cheese for a creamy, flavorful bite. Optional seasonings like garlic powder and black pepper add extra depth.
To begin, preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Cook the sausage in a skillet over medium heat until it’s browned and fully cooked, then drain and cool slightly. Mix it with the shredded cheese, cream cheese, and seasonings in a large bowl to create a rich, hearty filling.
Next, unroll the crescent dough and separate it into 16 individual triangles. Spoon about a tablespoon of the sausage-cheese mixture onto the wide end of each triangle.
