On 3 July, United States president Donald Trump had his highly contentious ‘One Big Beautiful Bill’ passed by a razor‑thin 218–214 margin.

While MAGA heads will be thrilled by the major big tax breaks, big defence, and big border changes, it’s clear others will be seriously concerned about the bill, given that its passing has come at a serious cost to the climate, immigration rights, social safety nets, and the national debt.

During the avalanche of criticism for the ‘One Big Beautiful Bill’, it’s clear the 79-year-old Republican has still been able to leave some audiences shocked after making a ‘hateful’ comment about anyone who ‘hates’ him first.

When appearing in front of a crown in Des Moines, Iowa, Trump took aim at Democrats not in favour of the controversial legislation prompting many to rush to social media in order to call out his infantile remarks.
