Renee Nicole Good was killed in her car by an ICE agent last week. Now, a video of a DHS officer kicking and trampling candles that were left at a memorial for the 37-year-old mother sparks outrage on social media.

On January 7, while driving her SUV, Renee Nicole Good, 37, was killed by an ICE officer. The man fired three shots into her vehicle and hit the mother, who crashed into another car.

Good was pronounced dead at the scene, and the aftermath has, just like many times before, left many furious. Some state it’s murder, while ICE claimed she weaponized her vehicle,” which made the agent act in self-defense. That narrative is being strongly contested.

“An ICE officer fearing for his life, the lives of his fellow officers and the lives of the public, fired defensive shots, used his training and saved his own life and that of his fellow officers,” DHS spokesperson Tricia McLaughlin said.
