Former President Joe Biden has sparked renewed concerns about his health after being photographed with a noticeable scar across his forehead while visiting Delaware. The 82-year-old, who has publicly acknowledged recent health challenges, was seen leaving a church in Rehoboth Beach looking noticeably frail, with the fresh mark on his head clearly visible.

The footage, first aired by Inside Edition, was captured by a local resident, Fred Karger. He told the outlet that from his vantage point, the scar closely resembled one typically left after skin cancer surgery. Karger’s observation was further supported by Biden’s spokesperson, who later confirmed to the Daily Mail that the former president had undergone Mohs surgery, a procedure commonly used to treat certain types of skin cancer.

Biden was also spotted the night before at a local ice cream shop wearing a baseball cap that appeared to conceal the injury, suggesting the scar may still be in the healing phase. This is not the first time in recent months that the same area of Biden’s forehead has drawn attention. In August, while attending the funeral of former Delaware Governor and U.S. Representative Mike Castle, Biden was seen with a bandage covering the same region.

The scar and subsequent disclosure of Mohs surgery have added to a growing list of health concerns surrounding the former president. Biden has previously undergone surgery to remove a basal cell carcinoma from his chest in 2023 and is currently receiving treatment for stage four prostate cancer, a condition that was only made public earlier this year.
