A popular Colombian motorcycle-influencer known online as “Bikegirl” has died at the age of 25 following a tragic crash on a highway in Floridablanca. The woman, identified as Karen Sofía Quiroz Ramírez, lost control of her motorcycle while reportedly attempting to ride between vehicles — a manoeuvre often referred to as lane-splitting. She first collided with a small car, then was run over by a truck.

According to local and regional reports, the crash occurred on Wednesday while she was riding on a busy road. Emergency services were dispatched to the scene, but she suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead there. The accident apparently happened just hours after she had posted on social media that she had lost her glasses, a post her many followers have described as a chilling premonition.

Ramírez had built up a significant following on social media thanks to her fearless riding videos, her vivid personality, and her candid documentation of her love for motorbikes, tattoos, and life on the road. She was part of a community of young motorcycle enthusiasts who posted content about biking adventures, maintenance tips, and lifestyle vlogs. The news of her death rapidly sparked sorrow and shock among her followers and within the wider online community.

Friends, fans, and fellow riders mourned the loss, calling the crash a tragic reminder of the risks that can come with road riding and the unpredictability of life. On social platforms, many paid tribute — some reflecting on the ambition and energy she brought to her videos, others expressing grief at how her vibrant life was cut short.
