After 19 years of marriage, Nicole Kidman has officially filed for divorce from Keith Urban, ending one of Hollywood’s most admired relationships. Court documents cite irreconcilable differences, with September 30, 2025, listed as their separation date. Kidman is requesting primary custody of their daughters, Sunday Rose (17) and Faith Margaret (14), while Urban will have limited visitation rights.

Both agreed to waive spousal and future child support, attend co-parenting seminars, and refrain from speaking negatively about each other in front of their children. Despite the amicable legal terms, the split is said to be emotionally painful for both.

According to insiders, Kidman fought hard to save the marriage, while Urban slowly distanced himself. Earlier this year, he reportedly moved out of their Nashville home, signaling the end. Sources close to the family revealed that Kidman was “devastated and blindsided” when rumors emerged that Urban may already be seeing someone else.

Fans began speculating months ago after noticing subtle signs of trouble—Urban’s distant tone in interviews, fewer public appearances together, and Kidman’s solo red-carpet outings. Still, Kidman continued to post affectionate tributes, hoping to preserve what remained.
