Biden Says He Still Offers Advice to World Leaders, Critics Raise Eyebrows
Though no longer in office, former President Joe Biden claims his influence endures. Speaking at the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) conference in San Diego, Biden said foreign and domestic leaders continue to seek his advice.
“I’m getting calls… from a number of European leaders asking me to get engaged,” Biden told SHRM President Johnny Taylor. “I’m not [getting involved], but I’m giving advice.”
He also remarked, “If America doesn’t lead the world, who can?” and noted conversations with both Democrats and Republicans who “just want to bounce things off me.”
